Dr. William Maher received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his degree in Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Hospital. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine and his fellowship in Gastroenterology was completed at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Dr. Maher was a staff physician with Central Jersey Medical Group in Edison, New Jersey for one year prior to a fellowship for advanced training in Therapeutic Endoscopy at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Maher is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He joined Atlantic Digestive Specialists in 2000.
