Shelby earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Salem State University in Massachusetts before working at medical facilities in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She is currently working on her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell.
